Ruth & Willis Piehl Educational Awards

Through the Ruth & Willis Piehl Educational Awards program, all LSS employees (except those in a PRN status) may be eligible to receive up to $5,000 in educational assistance for any schooling that will enhance their career options at LSS. The Piehl Awards covers tuition costs (for GED, English as a Second Language, and certification programs), as well as books, supplies, and fees. All requests must be submitted and approved before any classes or programs begin. Additional terms and conditions that apply to this program may be found in the HR Policy “Educational Assistance – Ruth & Willis Piehl Educational Awards”, and it is the employee's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the policy for which they must comply.
