Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) recognizes that employees must balance their work with personal, medical, and family needs, and at times employees may need time away from work in order to fulfill and tend to these needs. This is why LSS offers multiple types of leaves of absence, including but not limited to Family and Medical Leave under FMLA, Personal Leaves of Absence (PLOA), Jury Duty, USERRA (Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act), VESSA (Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act), and expanded bereavement leave.

To provide employees the best support when they need time away from work, we have partnered with a third party administrator (TPA) called FMLASource.
