Flex Spending Account Grace Period Ends March 15 Must Submit Claims by March 31

You have one more shot to spend your 2023 Flexible Spending Account (FSA) dollars!

 If you were enrolled in a Healthcare or Dependent Care FSA last year, you have a grace period to spend your FSA contributions. You can spend remaining 2023 FSA dollars through March 15, 2024, as long as these claims are submitted to Wex Health by March 31, 2024.

 This grace period provides you with the opportunity to maximize the funds in your FSA by extending the final date to incur new expenses. Instead of immediately forfeiting any remaining funds at the end of the plan year due to the IRS use-or-lose rule, the grace period gives you an extended timeframe to spend your unused balance into the following plan year.
