Time to Save! Schedule Your Wellness Screening Now

Spend less on insurance premiums by completing your annual wellness screening now!

Annual wellness screenings are your opportunity to earn discounts on your 2025 health insurance premiums. Currently, all employees, as well as any spouse enrolled in LSS medical benefits, can register for their biometric health screening through Quest Diagnostics’ LSS wellness portal.

Check your inbox for an official welcome email from Quest, which should have arrived in July, with details to help you get registered in the Quest portal. Be sure to share them with your spouse if they are enrolled in the medical plan. All screenings (regardless of the method chosen) must be requested through the Quest portal by logging in at My.QuestForHealth.com (first time participants will need to register). To ensure you receive discounted medical premiums beginning January 1, 2025, any LSS employee and spouses enrolled in the medical benefits as of July 1, 2024, or earlier should participate now.

This year, Quest is introducing a new virtual platform: Quest Virtual Care. Their previous app, 98Point6, can be deleted; there is a new app that will need to be downloaded. Access to this new platform will be Monday – Friday from 8am to 8pm CST. Download the new app by clicking here.

We are happy to continue the same program enhancements that were laid out last year, which will make the process easier than in years past. The five metrics that will again be measured this year are: HDL Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, A1C hemoglobin (related to glucose levels), Triglycerides and Blood pressure. There is an eight-hour fasting requirement for the screening. Note that participants only need to meet/pass three or more metrics to earn the wellness credit with no additional steps to take. If a participant fails to meet three of the five metrics, they can still earn the wellness credit by taking advantage of virtual, one-on-one health consultations with health professionals through the Quest Virtual Care App, or you can meet with your own physician by using the Physician Engagement Form.

The three different screening options include:

  1. At a participating Quest lab (aka “Patient Service Center”)

  2. At the team member’s own home using the “At-Home Screening Kit”

  3. Submitting the required lab work provided by the team member’s own physician. Remember to fast! Fasting for eight hours prior to your screening is required for all biometric screenings, regardless of the method you choose.
